Tour Description
The Altai Mountains are the snowiest region of Kazakhstan. The relief and early snow accumulation allow cat-skiing tours in Altai from the end of November.
The highest ridge of the Kazakh Altai in the Ridder region is the Ivanovsky ridge. The height of the peaks reaches 2700 meters. This is where one of the three cat-skiing locations in Altai is located. The other two are located in the vicinity of the city of Ridder.
The Ivanovo Range has a large forest area for cat skiing and snowboarding, as well as an alpine area.
The cat skiing season in Altai lasts 4 months and ends in the last days of March.
To transport groups, we use modern snowcats with warm cabins for 15-20 people.
You can get to Altai by flying to Ust-Kamenogorsk via Almaty or Astana. Next, we will organize a transfer in a comfortable minivan or bus (depending on the size of the group). The transfer will take 2.5 hours.
Accommodation is available in village houses of varying levels of comfort.
